Students from both high schools, East and West, made up the Half Hollow Hills Robotics Team which recently competed for the first time in the National Robotics Competition in St. Louis.
The fully functioning robot they created, named Aptowitz Prime, had to complete certain mechanical tasks within a short amount of time. To create the robot, the students dedicated themselves to meeting the challenge – and in the process learned advanced physics, mechanics and engineering. Even though they didn’t win the competition, they certainly made their mark on the national level. Their sense of accomplishment and what they achieved must be very satisfying for these young scientists.
Congratulations to all members and advisors of the HHH Robotics Team for a job well done! I love stories like this! Really made my day!
