Happenings on Main Street

May 27th is the kick-off date for the 2011 Happenings on Main Street” Summer Event. Every Friday night from Memorial Day to Labor Day visitors can enjoy a mixture of live music and art while strolling through lovely Northport Village. View the work of local artists, browse through local boutiques, shops and galleries and then take a blanket or chair to hear the musical entertainment at the Village Park. Northport ArtWalk

Northport ArtWalk is a self-guided walking tour through Northport Village – where you can meet local artists and view their work. Musical performances, live artistic demonstrations and street decorations add to the festive atmosphere! Upcoming dates are: June 19, July 17, August 21 and September 11 and run from 1-5 pm. Maps are at Welcome Booths located at Caffe Portofino, 249 Main St and Copenhagen Bakery, 75 Woodbine Avenue.
